I recently lived at Hill Meadows for almost two years and it was a great first apartment experience. This was a great option in terms of space, location, and management. Chris was always responsive and helpful! The apartments are also very close to most parts of Springfield including the downtown, and are hidden from the road which makes them feel safer and more comfortable. Overall, living here was definitely worth it and I would consider renting again if I am ever in the area!

My daughter was starting medical school at SIU and we were searching for a place for her to live that would be convenient to the school and be in a safe area. We looked at many places and I must say Hill Meadows Apartment was a wonderful find! It's location is ideal being close to the school and downtown. It's in a very safe area and is set back away from the main road. Furthermore, the property is well maintained and Management is prompt at addressing any issues that may arise. My daughter lived there for all 3 years of her medical school and she had an excellent experience. As a parent I could not have been more satisfied and I would highly recommend this apartment complex to all. Peaceful living for my daughter and peace of mind for myself!

I recently moved into the community and have had a really positive experience overall. As a Springfield native, I appreciated how seamless the leasing process was. The office staff was incredibly responsive and clear via email, and there were absolutely no hidden fees or surprises when signing the lease. On move-in day, there was a minor hiccup getting the keys, but the team communicated beautifully and resolved it quickly. Because my ground-floor unit faces the parking lot, moving my things inside was incredibly easy. The apartment itself wasn't pristine upon arrival, it was a little dusty and the windows and oven were a little dirty, but it was still quite well-kept. Most importantly, all of the appliances work perfectly and the door locks are secure. I’m very happy to call this place home!

Easy and smooth move in process. In my short time here I’ve had no issues. The fellow tenants are easy going and welcoming. I love the nature side of the complex I’ve seen deer outside my bedroom window a few times and brings a sense of tranquility. Chris is super helpful with any questions and concerns that you may have. Loving my time here.

I had the pleasure of living here when I moved to Springfield. Chris made the process very easy and offered some amazing apartment options. I was approved fast and it was a seamless process! I lived in a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment & I loved my apartment even when I had visitors they mentioned how nice the space was compared to other spots in town & I loved how secluded the area is. Overall 10/10 no complaints on living and working with this complex also super close to downtown & all stores if you work for the state. Also washer and dryer in unit, you can't beat that!

Hill Meadow Apartments is truly a hidden gem in Springfield—spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained in a way that immediately feels like home. The location could not be better because it is just two miles from downtown, two miles from Sam’s Club, walking distance to County Market, and Walgreens right next door, yet still incredibly quiet and peaceful. With all the beautiful trees surrounding the property, it’s an especially lovely place in the spring and summer, where you can relax outside and enjoy the weather under the shade. Mr. Chris and his family are hands down the most caring and kind landlords I have ever had in over 20 years of renting, they genuinely treat people with love and respect. The community is calm, safe, and filled with working professionals who value privacy, making it a wonderful place to raise children or simply enjoy a peaceful lifestyle. After more than two decades in rentals, this is by far the best place I have ever lived. If I ever move back to Springfield, this is the only place I would rent again. I read the reviews before moving in, and I can honestly say every word was true. Thank you, Chris.

My wife and I lived here for 5 years and it was very peaceful. The owners have been quick to respond to maintenance requests. Never had a problem with any of the neighbors. I think it's a great location too, not on the main road, but close enough to everything you want to be near. They have also refreshed their porches so they're brand new, with our apartment having a view of the trees with a quiet park back behind them.
